Even though we’re still in spring, the vibe on the streets indicates that summer is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be happier. If you’re planning to come to Málaga for vacation or you’re from the area, surely you can already picture yourself barefoot, touching the sandy beach while savoring a delicious Malaga-style fried dish at the nearest beach bar. It’s a classic that we adore, but let us inform you that this concept has evolved (or rather, “digi-evolved”) for quite some time now. If you’re into enjoying an afternoon by the beach, filled with lots of fun, great food, parties, music, and a bit of posing, then you’re going to love this post. Still don’t know what we’re talking about? Well, keep reading because we’re about to present our top 10 Beach Clubs on the Costa del Sol.
Ámmo Beach Club
The perfect mix of minimalist space, comfort, and great food. Ámmo Beach Club in Marbella goes all-in for authenticity, as evidenced by its pool surrounded by 130 tons of white sand from the shores of Cádiz. You can dance to the latest hits barefoot, and if you need to rest, don’t worry, you can relax on their wooden Balinese beds. Undoubtedly, a place to disconnect from the routine.

La Palapa Beach Jazba
On Los Álamos Beach, you’ll find one of the trendiest beach clubs of the moment, and that’s none other than La Palapa Beach Jazba, where reserving one of their fantastic Balinese beds can be considered a risky sport. Consider yourself warned. Despite this it is definitely worth it as it allows you to spend a day at the beach in a spectacular environment with extensive kitchen opening hours where you can delight in their fusion cuisine that will leave you speechless.
Opium Beach Club
Dancing until your feet hurt, but in swimwear and by the pool? Yes! Check out their website and get updated on all the pool parties they have planned for this Marbella summer from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Between dances, take a stroll through their restaurant menu and replenish your energy with their exquisite dishes. If, after one of these parties, you’re still craving more, don’t worry, they also have Opium Nights where you can enjoy live shows. Without a doubt, a place where you know when you start, but not when (or how) you’ll end.

La Sala by the Sea
In the famous Puerto Banús, you can go shopping and, why not, debut that bikini you’ve prepared for your vacation at La Sala by the Sea. This Thai-style beach club stands out for its good vibes, its restaurant, and the possibility of relaxing in its jacuzzi and spa. Definitely a beach club worth visiting.
Playa Padre
We love this beach club for the good vibes it exudes. Their slogan, “Meet me at la playa, I promise it will be padre,” is a total hit. What can you expect from Playa Padre? The perfect combination of good food, a great atmosphere, and good music for a perfect day. Be careful when you go because you might not want to leave when the sunset comes, and then the party continues until the early hours of the morning. We’re definitely eager to go back sooner rather than later.

You have two good options: staying at our Letmalaga Jazmines Banús apartment and visiting the spectacular Naô Pool Club, which is less than a 10-minute walk from our place. In this club, you’ll find good vibes, DJs spinning tunes from the center of the pool, and spacious beds that you won’t want to leave.

Nikki Beach, Marbella
Perhaps it can be considered THE beach club par excellence, not only because of its trajectory over the years that has made us enjoy and dance like there’s no tomorrow, but also because it is a reference for luxury beach clubs on the Costa del Sol. With national and international fame, it boasts a pool with breathtaking sea views that will leave you speechless and serves as the perfect stage for the shows of the world’s best DJs year after year. Without a doubt, you must experience Nikki Beach firsthand.

Playa Aruba
Not all the trendy beach clubs are in Marbella, and a good example of that is Playa Aruba. Located on the coast of Torremolinos, you’ll find this club with a renewed menu for the season, a wide variety of cocktails, and fantastic ambient music. Just remember, make a reservation before going to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

Kokun Ocean Club
We continue in Torremolinos with one of the most famous clubs in this area of the Costa del Sol: Kokun Ocean Club. It has a restaurant with different menus, including beach, afternoon, and cocktail menus which despite not being extensive, offers a good selection to spice up those summer evening chats with your friends and bring you lots of laughter. It’s definitely an ideal place if you’re in the mood for a beachy party and a bit of posing.
La Inopia
Finally, we wrap up with La Inopia, somewhere between a beach bar and a beach club located in the Torre de Benagalbón area. Are you looking for a space to enjoy with your family? La Inopia is the place for you, where you can spend a day with live music, play on the beach, enjoy a tasty “espeto” (grilled sardines), and completely relax in front of the sea. It’s an alternative space with a friendly and laid-back atmosphere.
